Frequently asked questions about our Membership Packages.
How long to I have to sign up for? We have memberships which are for an initial minimum period of 12 months. The monthly fees do not vary but a joining fee applies. At the end of the initial minimum period the membership automatically rolls over to become a monthly ongoing membership. After you have served out your initial minimum period of membership there is no requirement to sign up for another minimum period. After the initial minimum period we only need 30 days notice to cancel your membership.
We also offer fixed term memberships of three, six or twelve months. These memberships require payment in full up front. No refunds are available. Fixed term memberships do not incur a separate joining fee.
Are there expensive joining fees? Our joining fees are very modest. It is only a $50 start up fee for a membership if you commit to a full minimum of twelve months membership.
If you join on a Family or a 50’s Plus Partners Membership there is still only a single joining fee regardless of the number of people joining i.e. a family of four pays only one joining fee.
Fixed term memberships do not incur a joining fee.
Generally no. As a member no further entry fees are required, simply show your Membership Card and in you go. Hire equipment or Crèche services are not included in the Membership and will be charged for at appropriate rates.
How do I pay my Membership fees? Payments are made by calendar monthly deductions from your Credit Card. Payments may also be made using a nominated bank account but we do charge an additional monthly admin fee for this service.
Can I suspend my membership? Memberships may be suspended for up to three months in any 12 month period. A monthly suspension fee is payable for this service.
Does the membership allow me unlimited access?
Subject to availability members can access our facilities during public access times. On occasion, we have restricted access to some of our facilities for special events (Swimming Carnivals, Charity Golf Days etc.). The membership does not confer any special access privileges and normal booking conditions apply. Members of the five day access golf memberships may only play from Monday to Friday inclusive.
What is covered in the Membership? A comprehensive list of facilities and activities covered in the various membership categories and full terms and conditions for all of our Membership Packages are included in our service contract , provided upon joining.
Is there a fitness test and program for members wanting to access the Gymnasium? All members wanting to use the gym are offered a free individual fitness test and tailored program at no cost. The program can be changed regularly with our qualified gym instructors without charge and members can access the gym 7 days a week.
Can I attend the Group Fitness and Circuit Classes? We offer a huge range of classes, both wet and dry, including the popular 'Les Mills' programs and cycle classes. The membership offers unlimited attendance (subject to availability) to all classes.
