The Croydon Leisure & Aquatic Centre, proudly owned and operated by the Maroondah City Council, has been a leader in providing exceptional health and fitness programs and facilities in Croydon for over 30 years.
The opening of the aquatic facility and subsequent renovations to other areas of the centre provided an opportunity to create a special place for women. Verve for Women provides a safe, secure and welcoming environment for women where they are able to reach their goals of achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
Verve for Women
The studio offers a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, staffed by qualified, experienced and caring women who will inspire you and set you on the road to a healthier you. We have worked hard to create an environment and ambience in which women feel comfortable and secure, whatever their body type.
Working women and women on the go will find our 30 minute fitness circuit ideal. Our customised circuit, carefully designed by our own qualified fitness professionals, provides a great workout, toning up all areas of the body and achieves a full, yet time-efficient, cardio workout.
Our staff are fitness professionals, dedicated to helping you define and meet your fitness goals. With additional support onsite from LifeCare, the largest network of medical and allied health services in Australia, you also have access the following services:
- Dietician
- Exercise Physiologist
- Myotherapist
- Osteopath

Healthy Eating Programs
For those looking to get into shape, our membership package includes valuable consultations with our staff. They will teach you to recognise and enjoy healthy foods in addition to helping to motivate you to start your weight loss journey. A healthy eating program coupled with our great 30 minute Verve for Women workout will help you climb the ladder to successfully reach your goals.
Our Studio
Consisting of state of the art hydraulic resistance fitness stations, treadmill, bike and cardio stations, our circuit ensures that you get the most out of your time with us. Verve for Women offers a stimulating environment where exercise is fun, the company great and the results speak for themselves.
There is no waiting to use the equipment, simply join the circuit at any time. Our qualified fitness professionals, on hand at all times, will look after you, ensure your safety and make every visit an enjoyable experience.

- Monday to Friday PM 2.30 pm – 7.30 pm
- Saturday 8.00am – 12.00 noon

Verve memberships offer great value at just $55 per month*.
With free unlimited attendance during our operating times, as well as a complimentary swim, sauna & spa every time you visit, our membership offers you the chance to get the most out of your time with us.
As a special bonus you will also receive a free one-on-one session with LifeCare’s qualified dietician, who will give you some great advice on a healthy eating plan to start you off on the path to good health.
*Membership fees are payable monthly by direct debit credit card transfer. Fees can also be paid from a nominated bank account, however an additional administration fee of $2.30 per month is applicable for this service. A joining fee of $50 also applies.
