Junior programs - Biddy Ball and School Holiday Programs

Can I stay and watch my child?

  • School holiday programs: Parents/guardians are welcome to stay and watch or you can leave your child in the care of our coaches and staff.
  • Term programs: Children must be supervised by a parent/guardian.

How do I book my session?

Only online or pre-arranged bookings are available to adhere to social distancing requirements and capacity management. No walk-ins.

Will you be accepting trials for Biddy Ball?

  • Yes, pre-arranged bookings are available. No walk-ins please.

How long is each Biddy Ball session?

  • Each Biddy Ball Intro and Biddy Ball Skills class is 45 minutes.

After your class, please collect your things and leave the facility promptly so the next session can commence as scheduled.

When do school holiday programs run?

  • Programs run over multiple days from 9.15am to 3.15pm at Maroondah Nets 9.30am to 3.30pm at The Rings. You can register for one, two or all available days.
  • See days and times for basketball, soccer and multi-sports school holiday programs at The Rings.
  • See days and times for netball, tennis and volleyball school holiday programs at Maroondah Nets.

Are there toilet facilities available?

  • In line with Victorian Government regulations our toilets and hand basins will be available.

What should I bring with me?

  • Your own filled drink bottles. Drink fountains will also be available.
  • Your own basketball for use in term-based Biddy Ball Intro and Biddy Ball Skills classes.
  • School holiday program participants are encouraged to bring their own basketball, soccer ball, volleyball, netball or tennis racquet if they have one.

What hygiene and safety measures are in place?

Maroondah Leisure will be following and enforcing the below hygiene, social distancing measures and safety protocols:

  • Additional cleaning processes have been introduced with special attention taken to disinfect all high touch areas.
  • Staff will direct participants that if they are feeling unwell or have symptoms of fever, flu, cough or respiratory problems, they should not attend the session.

Can I leave a session early?

  • Yes, please exit through the normal venue entry/exit point.

What happens to lost property?

  • Lost property will be kept for one week only and can be collected from the venue.

Casual shooting, pickleball, badminton and table tennis

Who can attend?

  • Anyone with a confirmed booking can attend our facilities. Court allocation will be managed by the venues.
