Aquatic and Leisure Venue - Reopening update

4 June 2020

Thank you for your continued understanding and patience during the closures of Aquanation and Aquahub. We’ve been working hard to ensure our member and patron safety is priority for the upcoming reopening of our venues. 

In response to the recent government announcements regarding the easing of COVID-19 restrictions, Aquanation and Aquahub will remain closed for a short while longer. We’re currently developing a reopening schedule in accordance with the Victorian Government’s timeframes and social distancing requirements, including the limited numbers of people in enclosed spaces.

When will Aquanation and Aquahub reopen?
Below are the planned reopening dates for each area of the venues.

Main Pool and Warm Water Pool

* Reopening later due to programmed replacement of gym equipment, with timing set prior to COVID-19. 

Aquanation and Aquahub reopening
While the venues have been closed we’ve been busy putting in place a booking system, so before you reach for your swim or gym bag, look out on Monday 15 June for details on how you can book your next visit.

The information will include:
- How to book your sessions for the pool, the gym and group fitness.
- A schedule of session times and price.
- Other information relating to the reopening including attendance guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions (and answers).

The service offerings for the first stage of reopening on June 22, at a capacity of 20 people per divided space will be as follows;

  • Lap swimming
  • Warm Water sessions
  • Warm Water Aqua classes
  • Shallow Water Aqua classes
  • FITT classes
  • Group fitness classes
  • Gym sessions
  • Outdoor Bootcamp sessions
  • Dive & Swim Club sessions
  • At risk group sessions and disability groups.

  • One on one appointments in the gym

What happens with my membership?
Fixed term and direct debit memberships that were paused for the duration of the closure will continue to remain on hold until further notice.
