Swim teaching is an excellent job for adults of all ages! The variety of shift times and flexible hours mean that students can work around their study commitments and parents can work while children are at school.
If you are looking for a rewarding job, enjoy working with children and are a confident swimmer we want to hear from you!
Our Learn to Swim program runs seven days a week and is located at Aquanation in Ringwood and Aquahub in Croydon.
Please note that to become a qualified swim coach you need to be 16 years or older. You will need to undertake the training required to become an accredited coach with Austswim or Swim Australia before you can complete your training hours with us. This includes completing Austswim Teacher of Water safety (TSW) or Swim Australia Swimming and Water Safety Teacher.

Gymnastics coach training
If you are seeking training opportunities, enjoy working with children, and have a passion for teaching fundamental movement skills, we would love to hear from you!
Our gymnastics program runs 7 days a week and is located at Aquahub in Croydon.
It is important to note that in order to become a qualified gymnastics coach, you must be at least 16 years old. Additionally, you will need to undergo the necessary training to become an accredited coach with Recreational Gymnastics Australia. This training includes the completion of the following courses before you apply for training hours:
- Community Coaching Essentials Skills Course – Australian Sports Commission
- Safeguarding Children and Young People in Sport Induction – Sport Integrity Australia
