The mural on the façade of Croydon Memorial pool was created by local artist Niki Hassold in collaboration with community members.
The mural features fish and other water creatures placed within a continuous wavy horizontal band of water.
Croydon Community Pool also features mosaics made by students of the Croydon Community School in 2006. Previously located around the Croydon Station precinct, the mosaics have now been installed inside the pool area for the enjoyment of community members. The theme of the mosaics is “Things I like about Croydon”.
